Dearest
Just a line or two to let you know that I am still alive & kicking Thanks for the snaps. They are quite good arnt [sic] they. Have you heard from Wyrley. [sic] Regarding Baccy I have reached the stage when I don’t mind what it is but I prefer Ogdens Turret, Legation or Tom Long.
There is still no news of when I am likely to be posted so I am still in the store here. The Sergeant comes back next week so Ill [sic] possibly have a little more time off.
Oh! When you send a Registered [sic] letter or Parcel (If ever) do not send it so that it will arrive on a Saturday because I wont [sic] get it until Monday if you do.
I was lucky today I managed to get a ¼ lb of Chocolate for the Boys so I am sending some along.
Have you heard from Auntie Jessie lately?
[page break]
I have not heard again. Well I cant [sic] think of anything more to tell you dear now except I watched a convoy being Bombed the other night Nothing was hit though. The Drome was raided here the other night. 8 ground gunners were killed but no serious damage was done.
Well love to all
Yours ever
Ian.
