My Darling,
Just a line in haste to tell you that I had a good journey down here & I was in Camp before 11.30. I am starting work again in the morning in my own section so that does not look much like [corrected] leave [/corrected] In fact it is a possibility that the draft may be cancelled, still one must not bank on it at all.
There is not much to tell you dear except that I am still feeling funny down inside. It is always the same when I get back. So keep your pecker up & Ill [sic] see you soon again
All my sincere love darling for you the best wishes to the “Olduns”
Yours
Ian.
