Dear Mrs Wynne
I am writing to see if you have had any news yet concerning your husband Sgt Wynne I do hope you have and that it is good news. We at home here often talk about him and wonder if he is safe and well
I would greatley [sic] appreciate a letter from you I have been very upset lately as my son Dennis has had to go abroad where we do not know
I shall be relieved when this [corrected] terrible [/corrected] war is over
I hope you do not mind me writing as we are so anxious to hear news.
My daughter is a Wireless Operator at Manby in South not very far from home now She gets on well as she passed all her exams and is now A C W I
Please write me a line when you can spare the time
I hope you are keeping well as it must have been a great strain on your nerves all this
[page break]
worry.
If ever you can get to Lincoln we would be very pleased to see you if you care to call
Hoping soon to hear from you
I remain
yours sincerely
