Dear Madam,
Thank you for the return of the application form duly completed, and I note that you would welcome some help with the school fees of your young son, commencing with the Spring Term, as you have already made payment for this year.
My Committee, I know, will be pleased to consider helping you with the school fees, and perhaps you would be good enough to reapply towards the end of the year.
You might like to know that when your son reaches the age of eight years, he should be eligible for the official educational grant up to £50. Per annum allowed by the Ministry of Pensions, Norcross, Blackpool, Lancs, to whom you should make the application when the time comes.

I understand from your letter that both your sons are delicate and require extra building-up foods, which are rather expensive, and my Committee have therefore decided to assist you with a grant of £5. 0. 0. Towards the cost of extra nourishment needed for your two boys, and I enclose herewith cheque for that amount which please kindly endorse over a 2d stamp on reverse.
Yours truly,
Squadron Leader,
Joint Secretary.
