My darling Mummy.

Thank you for your letter. By my rough paper Miss Sheluetan says I have passed. I was only blessed by the Bishops, but the rector said he would like all the confirmation boys to take communion from the Bishop who confirmed them, and the rector said he would like the Armenian boys to go as well. Yes Mummy I always will take it very reverently. In the Latin exam 2 boys tied for 1st place with 81 and another came 2nd with 56 and I came 3rd with 50. We played the team that beat us two love and they beat us this time 4-1. But the referee was from the same regiment as theirs. Our 2nd XI played a Young Tamar team from where St. Josephs is and we beat them 5-0. Our 2nd XI are playing St. Joseph’s this Wednesday. I am sending a few more [indecipherable word] pictures. Has Thelma got any Constellation pictures.?. The monsoons are beginning. The days are going very quickly. If enough money can be raised from the scouts we are going to have a camp at Sun Duc Foo which is 1009 ft high. I am ending now with lots of love and kisses from your loving
Son [underlined] David [/underlined]
