My darling Mummy.
Thank you for your letter. Our 2nd Xl played St. Josephs in their second match and won 3-2. And our 1st Xl play their [sic] 1st match on this wednesday. [sic] If the 1st Xl draw even 1 of their matches, then we win the Rectors Cup. The other day our 1st Xl, only boys, played a Gurka [sic] team and won 4-2.
I came 5th in Divinity with 58 marks. My weight is 5st. 12lbs stripped, and Stevie’s is 4st 13 1/2 lbs. There was a conjouror [sic] here last night, and he was [deleted] ho [/deleted] hopless [sic]. A few days ago I got a constellation in one of the packets. No more news to-day with love from your
loving son
