My own darling Mum & Dad.

Just a few lines to relieve your minds. I was asleep when I arrived [deleted] at [/deleted] here & Mr. Audall woke me up. (I had my afternoon sleep O.K.). In a couple of days we will be going in Bhairub.

It is not half so warm here. Mr. Steele also met me at the station, but he has shaved his moustache and I could scarcely recognize him. I have not seen Bill yet but will just now. I will give him Don’s love.

Mr. Audall has quite a number of birds here. You know that bamboo bridge that was here, well it has been knocked down and something much more modern has been put up. For Mum, I haven’t seen any crocs yet. Well no more to-day, God bless & keep you, with lots of love & kisses
From the [deleted] indecipherable word [/deleted] man of the family
