Hockey event

A large group of civilian men and a few women are standing on tiered seats, steps and veranda of a large sports pavilion; most are wearing overcoats, several with sports-style sweaters. On the front row are sitting 16 men in shorts and sweaters holding hockey sticks and in the middle stands an elderly man in a blazer with a woman on his left. Ninth sitting man from right has ink arrow pointing to him captioned ‘David’. On bottom right of the mount are four hand-written but indecipherable words. On the reverse ‘Kings College London’, ‘1 985 0’, ‘XIXX’ and the photographer's rubber stamp.
