My darling Mummy.
Thank you for your letter. Mrs Cox says she likes your hand writing, and that she has posted you a letter. We are having good weather again. We are going home on the 23.rd., NOV: there are only 99 days left. The sports are on the 4th. of Oct:
The puga holidays are from the 10. [underlined] Th. [/underlined] to the 15. [underlined] Th [/underlined] of Oct: We [deleted] are [/deleted] had a half holiday on Friday because one of our masters has been engaged to Miss Beaver of Al [inserted] I [/inserted] ce villa. You will be very glad to hear I got 80 for Hindi. I am really trying now. We had pictures yesterday Miss Sheluctons Brother showed the [sic] to us. We won the match against Victoria B. team the score being 2-1. and are in the semi finals of the John shield now, they shot the first goal and when there were only two minutes left we got agoal [sic], [deleted] I [/deleted] and had extra time and got
