Letter from Alan North to his parents
Title
Letter from Alan North to his parents
Description
Alan writes that his course is pretty tough compared with Cambridge. He sailed across in a large luxury liner, the food was good. Chocolate, fruit and cigarettes were for sale in unlimited quantities. The sea became rough and many were sick. Then after a few days it became very hot. After arrival in the USA they caught a train to Moncton, Canada. Next they caught a train to Regina. They changed trains at Winnipeg. He went to a dance in Regina and finds Canadians very friendly.
