Spoof photograph and airborne Manchesters
Title
Spoof photograph and airborne Manchesters
Description
A spoof photograph of a crew of five aboard a flying carpet. The pilot is wearing a light coloured flying suit and using a broomstick as a control column. An airman is crouching over the pilot looking through a telescope, another sits beside a camera operator and points downwards. The fifth crew member operates a machine gun to the rear on which a bird perches. The carpet is powered by a beer keg alongside which sits a beer glass. They are flying in the clouds with a flock of birds to one side and a signpost indicating Berlin on one direction and Syerston in the other. Hanging from the top is a 'keep left' sign.
The second is an air-to-air view of the port side of Manchester taken from the starboard side of another Manchester.
