Tuesday.

I met the other two as arranged, we had a couple for the road and

left at 7.45. We made very good time, stopped at a transport cafe near Baldock for ham and chips, coffee etc and finally arrived in camp at 11.30. quite a nice journey and much more pleasant than by rail.

the dentist, he's done his stuff, put in a tempory [sic] filling as time was short, anyway it won't take long to fill.

How has work gone today? not too well I suppose, still don't be too miserable its only five weeks and six days to the next leave.

Well, darling, not much more news at the moment, shall be writing again in a few days.

Take care of yourself, all my love, dearest,

Yours

Jack
