My Dear Kathy,
Yes dear it was a very nice surprise re ceiving [sic] a letter from you, I really thought you had forgotten me, all though Jay & I often talk over old times you know.
So you are near home Kathy, I [indecipherable words] very nice though dear, all though I shouldn’t think live billets are as good really, like you I should rather have a nissen – hut. yes we certainly had some good times at Waltham in hut 13, I’ll never forget them, and I know you wont Kathy, fancy [missing word] remembering our having supper in [missing words]
