I am to acknowledge your preliminary application in respect of the above licence and am to advise you that it has been accepted in Category "A" extension to include D.H. 104 landplanes.

If you can attend at Room 31, University College, Southampton, on Wednesday, 23rd March, 1949, at 1.30 p.m. for the written examination, please complete and return the accompanying M.C.A. Form 2D together with fee of £1. 0. 0., at least five days prior to the date of examination.

If you are unable to attend at the above time, please inform me without delay when you are able to do so, and retain the M.C.A. Form pending further notification of examination arrangements.
