Dear Win,
Sorry I’ve been so long replying, but I guess you know my excuses off by heart now.
Well I havent [sic] much news, if nothing goes wrong, I should be coming home next Thursday, & am I looking forward to that day.
We’ve passed the stage of counting in days now, and are counting the hours, soon it will reach the minutes.
Well thats [sic] about the only news I have at the moment
[page break]
I’m sorry I cant make it any longer, but I honestly haven’t any news.
Well any how I expect I’ll have more to say when I come back from leave,
Best of Luck,
Love,
[underlined] Jim. [/underlined]
P.S. today is Sunday, going home Thurday [sic] so if or rather when you write you might as well address it home, by the way who [sic] is the new billets.
