Friday.
Address as usual.
Darling Kay.
Your letter of Wed arrived today. Yes Darling Yes.
The two days should be very useful. Sorry I couldn’t write last night – was too busy.
Fixed my racquet the other day, its not too bad, at any rate it will last this season.
Had the radio repaired it wanted one or two new bits in it, but regret to say it’s not too good, there doesn’t seem to be enough volume, was it ever very loud?
Managed 12 Oh be joyfuls today, that should surfice [sic] for a bit.
Afraid there isn’t much in the news line, except that I am packing
[page break]
up the Garage, I hardly ever put the car in, it seems such a waste of money, I didn’t take it in last night & everything was okay. You have a spare set of keys I believe.
Must away darling & pack up my laundry.
Sorry you didn’t seem to have a very good holiday, I think we can & do enjoy ourselves much better on our own, without Archie & Jane don’t you agree?
Good bye Sweetheart
Yours always
Jim

P.S. What is the Insurance Renewal policy for? It can’t be for the Riley as a third party policy has been taken out by J Sears. J.
