Address as before.
Friday.

Kay Darling.

Arrived safely & found everything OK. Ian is still grounded but should be Okay in a few days time.

The Skipper & Johnyie are like a couple of kids with the Riley, they have been cleaning it, fixing this & that up, she should look “bang on” when they have finished, I suggested that they should have it sprayed turquoise blue, afraid the green wheels will spoil the effect. They are going to have the wings welded & sprayed.

On the journey they had a puncture, couldn’t find a thing but somehow managed.

As far as I know we should be having leave about the [indecipherable word]. D.V.

I have definitely decided to change my laundry woman.

2.

this last [deleted word] effort is simply hopeless, hanks and collers [sic] were soiled very badly.

Ian has just had a parcel of soups etc, so what ho for a feed tonight.

Sorry about the washing-up, I dashed around but was beaten by time. I think Mac enjoyed himself in his own quiet way.

Thanks for making him so welcome, it was a pity Margo couldn’t have come, still Jane is quiet [sic] a good mixer.

Write sweetheart by return.

All my love.

Yours always

Jim
