Dear Vera,

I was delighted to read in the Yorkshire Evening Post last night of the award to Ken of the Distinguished Flying Cross. You must be very proud of this, and I should like to express on behalf of the Youth Fellowship and Sunday School, and not least myself, our hearty congratulations. As I do not possess his address, I wonder if you would be so kind as to address the enclosed (stamped) letter for me, and post it to Ken?

Thanking you in anticipation and with kindest regards

Sincerely yours,
[signature]

Mrs. K. Gill.
