Dear Sir,
I am instructed to inform you that the personal belongings of your son, Sergeant G.C. Dennis, have been dealt with as follows:-
All personal belongings, correspondence, etc., together with a complete inventory, have been forwarded to the Standing Committee of Adjustment, R.A.F. Colnbrook, Slough, Bucks., who will be communicating with you at an early date.
Postal orders to the value of 12s. 6d. have been handed to the Station Accountant Officer and his receipt obtained; this amount will be credited to your son’s account in due course.
Please let me know if I can furnish any other information regarding the personal belongings, when I shall be pleased to be of further service.
