My Dear Mother
Just a few lines to let you know that I am keeping OK. How are you after your holliday [sic] at Wakefield, I could do with a few more days to get over the last leave
Our Rear Gunner was wounded in the Head and neck on the Ludwigshaven [sic] Raid and is now in hospital, Im OK so dont worry about me Please.
I shall be sending my dirty laundry off on Monday

There will be quite a bundell [sic].
The weather is not so good arround [sic] here its a bit foggy, lets hope it stops like it for a bit.
How many ducks and chickens did you bring back with you save some for me
Well mother [deleted] to [/deleted] thats all for now as I feel Rather tired I will write again soon I will close with love from your loving Son George
