Dear Mr. Monks,
I have been instructed to inform you that the personal effects of your son have been dealt with in the following manner:-
(i) All personal effects have been forwarded to the Standing Committee of Adjustment, R.A.F. Central Depository, Colnbrook.
(ii) All cash has been deposited with the Accountant Officer, R.A.F. Station, Elsham Wolds, and the receipts have been forwarded to the Standing Committee of Adjustment.
(iii) A Cheque Book has been forwarded to Air Ministry, Dept. Accts 13, Worcester.
The Standing Committee of Adjustment will communicate with you in due course, but if in the meantime you require any further information I shall be only too pleased to do whatever I can to assist you.
