“A LITTLE PICTURE to express my wishes for your happiness.” A Christmas card received by the King, with “loyal devotion, all ranks.” from the 17,300 prisoners of war at Stalag VIIIB – the largest camp of its kind in Germany. The card was sent through the International Red Cross. The King has sent his thanks and a good luck message through the same channel.
