My dear Sister,

Many thanks for letter duly received, digested and in the process of being answered. Im terribly sorry that you haven't had many letters from me lately, but you see there's a reason, there's always a reason for everything in this world thats why we are all so mad.

But, to continue the story, as I was saying the reason is that owing to some low

type painter thinking he could run the world by himself, I have, reluctantly, to convince him that he “aint got a clue.”

Since this necessitates much work, and no small amount of thought, I find myself unable to devote all my spare time writing to doting females.

Or, to cut a long story short “Theres a war on.”
