Yes I know, its about time I wrote to you so I am doing it now. Better late than never & I really have been very busy, that D.F.C wont be long now.

Im sorry to hear you have hurt your wrist pet, and I hope by the time you get this letter, it will be OK again.

Thanks for writing to “Sid” the letter was very nicely put & of course no answer was received as we expected. If you still have the letter duck do you think I could have it?

There isn't much to tell you about the social life of this place we have a swimming pool (Raf only) & a cinema of

sorts, apart from this we spend our evenings a [sic] the local “Spa Hotel” quite a cosy “Pub” and very pleasant people – of course everybody just idolizes us, but I'm quite used to that now.
