Bill Lucas and the 1948 London Olympics

Bill competed in the 5,000 metres in the 1948 Olympics held in London. There is page 14 of the programme showing the heats of the 5,000metres, a close up of the entrants in heat 2 which includes Bill. A recent photograph of Bill in his Olympic blazer. An advertisement in the programme for an Olympic Art Exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
