Dear Sir,
I am in receipt of your letter of the 17th instant regarding my son Acting Flight Lieutenant H.L. Fry, and am afraid that I must accept the conclusion that my unfortunate son lost his life on the 29th January, 1944.
I, his father, presume that in due course I shall be receiving from you a Letter of Administration in order to enable me to obtain the monetary effects of my son.
