Dear Terrry,
Yvonne wrote this letter instead of me. Congrats on passing your [indecipherable word] ground exams. Am very pleased to hear this. Many thanks for socks. They are very nice indeed. Have been out with uncles Alex & Bert. Wish you could be with us. All the best, Dad.
Dear Terry,
Thank you very much for the cable & also for the lovely brooch & scarf. The stockings must have been awfully dear. Mummy thanks you for the ones Don bought as they are lovely. I am now at Bristol for a few days Easter holiday. Janet & Uncle & Auntie are also here but Don went back to Scotland last week. It is lovely on the farm now with all the trees in flower we have had [indecipherable word] weather and I am quite brown. By the way you said that I couldn’t get a boy at my age over 18 but I’ve got quite a few about 23 so there you are. I have been to a lot of dances lately I expect you will think I am a terrific dancer when I come back because I can jitterbug can you Fish? Thank you also for your last letter just going to have dinner.
Love Fat.
