Dear Fish, Mum & Dad
I received you’re A.G. yesterday, Moira, & it was very interesting & very clear. You were a lucky girl on your birthday. Did you like your cable. I hope it was rats & not rabbits Binty had with him, but they would have been too many anyhow. Have you heard about your exams yet?
Well, I’m afraid there is very little news this week. I’ve heard from Denis, & he should soon be home. I decided to get fit this week-end. We went for a very enjoyable walk on Sunday, & yesterday four of us got up at six & went for a run round the ‘drome. I can still hardly walk, & so I’ve decided to give it up, in future. I’ve been recommended for a commission after all, & have had a medical. This doesn’t mean I shall necessarily get one, & I’m still doubtful whether I want one, although I shall accept if offered it. I’ve passed my Wings cross country & gone solo at night, so things are now approaching the end. The weather is now very warm & life is very pleasant, as we usually only fly for half a day & sleep the rest. Please give my regards to everyone at home. Much love.
Terry.
P.S. John Fisher is now at Pensacola.
