Dear Madam
Today is the ninth anniversary of my engagement & I have booked a table for two for dinner at the bull hotel Gerrards Cross tonight. Would you join me? If so could you get a taxi to call for you and pick me up at Gerrards Cross Station at 7.5 pm & collect us from the Bull at 8.30pm I am afraid we must cut it a little fine then but I don’t want to spoil the dinner by undue haste.
If this all meets with your approval would you kindly confirm by phoning me at my office.
