Dear John,
Please excuse the paper, I am using up all my old stock and having been condemned to spend the day here, I have time clearing letters amongst other things. It has been a mundane day anyhow. I had an easy start from [4 indecipherable words] & Muriel saw me to the station and all was well. Question is [6 indecipherable words] I think, he had a dance on Friday night & there is [7 indecipherable words] He is also doing some home [indecipherable word] just to keep his hand in! We spent [2 indecipherable words] her 7 days from this coming weekend, she still has a bad cold & I hope she gets rid of it then. Mother, Binty & the children are well, Ann I will not see until tomorrow night. I was glad to see you looking so fit and I hope the man does not bother you again, also that things will [3 indecipherable lines].
I hope you have good news of Ursula & Frances & [3 indecipherable lines]
