Dear Mr. & Mrs. Madgett,
I had hoped so much that you would hear news of Hedley, and I write now to say how terribly sorry
we all are at the lack of news which might help to soften your anxiety.
Do not give up hope; better news may come through.
Ernie is very upset at the news, also Mary.
With all our sympathy in such an anxious time, to you all.
Yours Sincerely
