Dear Mr Madgett.
In case you did not know, I thought you would like to know that No 61 Squadron has moved to a new locality, it is Conningsby, Lincoln. Stanley’s Post Office savings book has been found among some papers in the Flight Office during the clearance from Syerston, & the F/O sent it on to me with a note to that effect. He also said, “There is still no news of your son, but we are still hopeful that good news will come through in the near future”. So we must keep hoping.
I trust that Mrs Madgett & yourself are well
Yours sincerely
Rose M Palk
