Dear Mr & Mrs Madgett.
I thank you so much for your kind letter received today dated Sept 12th.
Will you please accept my deepest sympathy in your anxious time. I have heard nothing, since receiving the sad news that my dear boy was missing. We must just continue to pray that God in his mercy, will bring them back to us, what faith we need in these dreadful times don’t we?

but God is able to supply our need. I will certainly write you, should I receive any information, and pray that you both & all anxious hearts may just rest in the God of all comfort. Thanking you again for your kind sympathy
Yours very sincerely
