Dear Amy & Bob.
I really don't know how to begin but feel I must write you a line to say how sorry we all felt about Hedley being missing.
Keep your chins up, for he may turn up yet, from some remote part of the country as they do sometimes. I know

the suspense must be terrible, but perhaps you won't be long before you hear something definite. Ed rang up Brenda yesterday telling her of it. Many a time today have I seen Hedley in my imagination, as we saw him on that surprise visit from Canada.
All we must do is hope for the best & that your feelings will be relieved before long.
