Dear Willy,
I was delighted to see the news in the Times yesterday; I do congratulate you, you really are a most distinguished person now; sorry I meant no pun; I am most impressed. I shall need a longer envelope to get it all on now. My only fear is that people will start to mistake you for an American.
We got here yesterday, after several false starts, but I don't know much about the place yet. The Oxley is a complete Blackpool boarding house of which I take rather a dim view, although it is quite a superior one. I think we are here for 3 weeks.
I hope you are well
Love kisses & many congratulations
from
Ian
