Dear Sir,
I have to thank you for the photograph of the 192 Squadron Crest, which you so kindly sent.
I consider it to be both aptly conceived, pithily mottoed, and extremely well executed; all praise to those who gave it shape and birth:- In short, I think it “does you proud!”
I should like to take this opportunity of saying what a pleasure it has been working with “192” both from Air Ministry and from Group,
[page break]
remembering too, that [inserted] it is [/inserted] the personnel that make the Squadron.
I am indeed proud to have had the honour of serving in the Squadron ranks, my only regret being the untimely curtailment of that service so early in its life.
Yours sincerely,
Harold. G. Jordan
