Dear David,
Here are the photos [inserted] (rough proofs) [/inserted] I can't say they I think they are good but I think they are probably as good as you will ever get of me.
Mother wants one of No 4. I will ring [deleted] the woman [/deleted] [inserted] Mrs Davy [/inserted] up on Monday & speak to her. But would you put them in the post on Saturday (so that she will get them Monday) stating what you want. address 24 The. Drive Esher. On the back of her card she states sizes. I suggest you have one post card size either mounted or unmounted one 7/- size. The 7/- is about the size of the photo your Mother has of Ian, the 10/- size I think is rather too large but [deleted] you [/deleted] decide for yourself what you would like.
Mrs Davy is a very nice person who carries on the business in her home while her husband is doing war work. Whether you like them or not I think you ought to have one because she takes [deleted] children [inserted] & babies [/inserted] very [/deleted] babies very well & I want Frances to go later on. You need only state what you want as I will ring her up about [deleted] Mother's [/deleted] the one mother wants.
Though I don't think they are
[page break]
good they are only rough proofs & will be better when touched up though I myself am in a way dissapointed [sic].
I am in a hurry as it is Frances bath time. Also Mother is going to post.
With all my love
Joyce
