My Only Darling,
I’m curled up again in bed – thank Heaven – and find it most difficult to keep my eyes open – so if you hear me groaning please poke me in the ribs and [underlined] maybe [/underlined] I’ll awaken again.
Blast you, move over darling and let me sleep. Ouch – you’re pinching me!
Wish it could be Darling – I so love you. Please believe me won’t you. I know you are almost afraid to even think it but really Angel I am sincere about it all.
Had the pleasure of receiving another parcel from Mother today with boys feasts. Doing swell aren’t I? Must scram now sweetheart – see you Wednesday. (I hope.) 48 starts Friday I think.
‘Night dearest. All my love and x’s
Xxxxxxxxxx Malcolm.
