My dear Rosemary
Just a few lines my dear to let you know that we are thinking of you
Mummy & I are sitting by the fire, she is knitting & I’v [sic] been reading, having done the cross word.
It sounds very hum-drum does’nt [sic] it but its nice & restful after a busy day.
I wonder what you are doing? Fast asleep in bed I hope.
I expect that your days are busy too, something to do all the time.
Mummy is looking forward to your holiday at St Ann’s with her am [sic] I’m sure
[page break]
that you are looking forward to it as well.
We had the Turners to tea on Sunday & Mary Iddon brought her baby boy Richard, he has grown into a beautiful Baby.
You will be pleased to hear that John has now got a post so Margaret is feeling very glad.
How did you enjoy Julius Ceasar [sic] I expect that it would be interesting but a bit “heavy”, Id [sic] like to hear about your reactions to it.
Well my dear I have no real news so I’ll close now hoping that you are well as we all are.
Bye-Bye & all my love to you.
Daddy.
