In the background a hangar with open doors and A V Roe & Co above doors in large letters. On the reverse 'Roy Chadwick with Sir Alliott Verdon Roe, Bert Hinkler, Russian pilot Gwaites, May 1922. With GEBDA at Hamble before first ever London Moscow flight, sold to Russians'.
