[underlined]DAWN PATROL[/underlined]

We carry the dawn on our wings
As we leave the greying earth
And roar up the skies,
Above the milk white clouds
Our dreams of the night
Are as real as the world
In which we fly.
We are Gods of the machines
And wheel and turn wing tip to wing tip,
Exulting in the flaming
Splendour of the rising sun.
We are vibrant with life,
And reckless with a wild courage
That knows no fear, but has
A certain knowledge that
Some of us will not return.
