[underlined] To the Ivory Boys[/underlined]
We’re Ivory Boys, we’re everywhere
The sky of cloud is always bare,
Otherwise we wouldn’t be there,
We’re Ivory Boys!
We leap aloft with glassy stare,
Of glamour we must grab our share,
Then throw our chests out everywhere
We’re Ivory Boys!
We shoot down Jerrys with delight
As soon as they come within our sight,
And then find its a British kite
We’re Ivory Boys!
But now they make us fly at night
It gives us such a shocking fright,
We wish to God we had a light
We’re Ivory Boys!
We all drink limejuice while we dine
To keep our eyes in fighting line,
Then up into the skies we climb
We’re Ivory Boys!
Ten grand we climb with map in boot
Looking for a kite to shoot,
If friendly we don’t give a hoot
We’re Ivory Boys!
We don’t care which way winds may blow
Nor if there’s rain or hail or snow,
If it isnt[sic] fine we just don’t go
We’re Ivory Boys!
There’s lots of things that we don’t know
But dam it all we’ve a radio,
We get around like Cloudy Joe
We’re Ivory Boys!
