Dear Mrs. Boldy.
I have just returned from Calcutta to hear you have [indecipherable] to say the boys are not networking. I can’t tell you how sorry I am, both personally & for the school’s sake.
We have had three so [indecipherable] years, with good results. Stephen of course will be brilliant wherever he goes – Both boys know “how to play the game” especially David - & in fact they would have been a good influence in the [indecipherable] Dorm.
[page break]
this year.
I am wondering what has really decided you. I wish you were in Calcutta & could meet.
The Rector – far from what some can gather so short a time. The [indecipherable] fact he is keen to work & discipline & he wouldn’t hesitate to send a rotter down the [indecipherable] rather than contaminate the others.
Should you be moving them for financial reasons couldn’t you write & state your case for leaving the school could help you after all these years of fees from you –
With very fondest regards to you all. Sincerely yours
