My dear Mum, Dad and Joy. My June parcel arrived yesterday! What a lovely birthday present. I am writing to the people Dad mentions in his letter. – the sleeping bag is just the thing for this weather. Those are my first pair of pyjamas, so could I have another, also slippers, dressing gown and u/wear. I have written my letters to you already, for this month, so more about my parcel next week. I am still well and fit and hoping I will see you all at 00 in the New Year. All my love to you, John.
M.
