Dear Mum, Dad, Joy, Received letters of June 12, July 5, 25 & 29th. The photographs are wizard. I am still fit and studying, and we all feel very optimistic & I think that is [sic] can’t be long now. “French without Tears” last week & a Band show coming soon. – we have a Theatre programme up to Xmas, but I hope we won’t need it. No more parcels arrived yet, but still hoping. Must stop now, Tons of love to all, John.
