JALAPAHAR,
DARJEELING.
October 22nd 1933.
My darling Dad.
Thanks for your letter.
We will show the letters to [deleted] [indecipherable] [/deleted] Mummy when she comes on Wednesday to our sports. Mr Colder took Mummy Stevie & me to [deleted] the [/deleted] Vado’s & then to the pictures yesterday. We saw “The Blond Venus”, Mummy & the Padre saw Passionate Plumber” [sic] by Buster Keaten [sic]. I sat with Sylvia at the piece last night. In the sports I have come in for 100 yds, 220 & 440. I will do my best best [sic]. I got 41 in Geog. Please excuse writing and short letter as I have hurt my elbow. [deleted] I g [/deleted] One of

the boys was swinging it and it hit me. It is nothing much. I am going to get a bandage on now.
