Dear Cathie;
I haven’t been ill – sometimes I forget things. I guess I forgot I received your pictures. They were quite nice. My neice [sic] is coming form Louisiana to spend Christmas with me. I’ll get some tickets for plays and opera if I can (she likes “Bohemme”) that’s very good for a beginner in opera. I remember the first night I was in London “when I worked their in ’54) I went to see “Die Walkire” at Covent Garden opera house. It was my introduction to Wagner & I loved it.
I hope you have a very nice holiday season. I’m sorry about your tribulations in moving.
I must run now
Love
Heathcliffe
