My dear Mrs Riding

I have wanted to write you since I heard the news but thought I would wait a bit & perhaps you will be feeling a bit better by now. It has been a dreadful shock for us all, but in my own heart I feel sure Ronnie is safe. He couldn't be anything else, I feel so sure, - I know you have got a great hope for him & I have the same. He will come back to us one day. I say in my prayers every night for his safety, & trust God will bring him back. Ronnie is a good lad & I think of him next to my own son
