Dear Mum & Laura,
Well here I am again quite fit & well but blimey, – ain't it Uncle Willy. We haven't flown yet since we got back, but we shall be flying to-night for a couple of hours probably.
Went to Bournemouth on Tues. night to see Bob Hope & Bing in "The Road to Utopia", its a scream. Well Andy is more or less demobbed. Anyway he isn't
[page break]
flying any more. He's just got to mess about until his actual demob. comes through which will be in about a fortnight. He's gone on 7 days leave to-day. He said he might come round & see you or see you in the Cedars on Sat. if you go.
We are still going on Sat. so will give you a ring Friday night.
We have a New Zealand second pilot now, a Flying Officer, Ron Signal. He's done a tour on Lancs. A very nice chap, married to an English girl. He's staying in England I think.
We cheerio for now,
all my very best love,
Ally [three rows of kisses]
P.S. Received your letter yesterday.
