Sir,
I am directed to refer to your letter of the 29th ultimo concerning your son, and to state that the photographs of his grave have not yet been received from the Army Graves Service, who are solely responsible for production.
Should, however, any prints come to hand they will be forwarded to you without delay.
The matter of your son’s medals has been passed to the appropriate branch of the Air Ministry for attention.
It is noted that his widow has remarried, and it will be appreciated if you will kindly ask her to advise this Department of her new name and address, as she is still recognised as the next of kin. If however, she wishes to cease acting as such and will indicate this in writing, then future correspondence will be conducted with yourself.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
